Photoshop Elements Classes: A Note from Sara

Due to circumstances I won't go into here, I have pulled all of my classes from LVS Online, both instructor led and self-study. Honestly, I am not sure LVS will even reopen this fall, but if it does, it will be without me teaching there. After considering a generous offer to teach elsewhere I have decided not to accept and to retire from formal classes. I thank the many students who have followed me from class to class, and in many cases from one school to another, for the last 13 years! It's been a lot of fun, but I'm taking this opportunity to spend more time with my family.

Thanks for the memories and the best of luck to you all!

American Pride

American Pride

I recently did the cover art for a new JIP Records release called American Pride, a collection of original songs by American songwriters. Click the thumbnail to see a larger image. The CD is $14.95 and can be ordered direct from JIP Records.

Music of Heartohópia

Some of my waterfall photographs are used to illustrate George Trier's new book, Music of Heartohópia, a unique and beautiful book full of haunting essays and poetry, designed to awaken the musician in all of us. Read about the book here. The cover photo is the lower falls of Minneopa Falls, a small beautiful cascade that cuts through the heavily wooded river valley of Blue Earth County, here in Minnesota. Photos of Gooseberry Falls near Lake Superior from northern Minnesota are also featured in the book. You can purchase a copy at in paperback or e-book format.

Color Wheel Pro

Because most of my classes deal with creating graphics for web or print, I am often asked how to choose colors. I recommend Color Wheel Pro!

Color Wheel Pro  is a unique software program that allows you to see color theory in action. With Color Wheel Pro, you can create harmonious color schemes and preview them on real-world examples.
